This Privacy Policy covers how Honest Dev Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our products and services, including PromptForge808 (promptforge808.com) and this website (honestdev808.com).

What we collect

We only collect what's necessary to make the product work:

• Account information — If you create an account in PromptForge808, we collect your email address via Supabase Auth (email/password or Google OAuth). We do not store passwords directly — authentication is handled by Supabase.
• Saved prompts and conversations — If you save prompts or run conversations in PromptForge808 while logged in, that content is stored in our Supabase database associated with your account.
• Session data — We use browser sessionStorage to preserve your forge session across tab switches and page refreshes. This data lives only in your browser and is cleared when you reset or close the session.
• Local storage (guest users) — If you use PromptForge808 without an account, your prompts and conversations are saved to your browser's localStorage only. We cannot access this data.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect payment information (no purchases exist on this platform).
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not use tracking pixels, ad networks, or behavioral analytics.
• We do not collect location data.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run the product:

• Supabase — Authentication and database. Your account email and saved data are stored in Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — The prompts you submit in PromptForge808 are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — Hosting and deployment for PromptForge808. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Data retention

Your account and saved data remain in our database until you delete them or request account deletion. You can delete individual prompts and conversations from within the app at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us at chris@honestdev808.com.

Security

We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS, Supabase's built-in row-level security, and httpOnly session handling. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
